The Township does not receive any portion of these monies as relates to this service payment option. Therefore, the municipality cannot waive or reduce this transaction fee for any reason.
The Finance Department is divided into three sections: Tax Assessment, Tax Collection, and Purchasing / Disbursement. The Assessors's Office is responsible for property valuation, while the Tax Collector assures the proper billing and collection of local property taxes.
